Kristy LaPointe and Chris Vandenberg are a Toronto based writing team who have also been married for 500 years. As a writing team they gravitate towards comedy, genre, and loveable weirdos.

Their debut feature screenplay is Let’s Do This, an action comedy heist, was selected for the Breaking Through The Lens program, two rounds of support from the Harold Greenberg Fund and is in development.

Chris is a Political Science PhD Candidate at York University, writer of the short film Wings, and producer & host of the Canadian Podcast Award winning horror cinema podcast The TexChris DaveSaw Massacre.

Kristy is the writer of the short films Sister Cult, Typecast, Felt Like Me and the CBC Comedy digital series Yoga 101. Her latest work includes HBOMax’s Home Sweet Rome and feature screenplay ALTER (co-written with Julia Rowland) which was selected for the WIFT-V’s From Our Dark Side incubator and Frontières Montreal.
